Warehouse robotics provider, Exotec, has announced the addition of Clémence Munier as Global Vice President, Grocery, a newly created role.

She'll influence the company's strategy in providing solutions for the problems across grocery markets in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Munier brings over 10 years of grocery experience, spanning both the retail side and grocery e-commerce automation.

Most recently she served as Vice President of New Business Acquisition at Ocado Group, where she built and led the global team that won new partners for the Ocado Smart Platform, growing its portfolio to 15 retailers worldwide. Prior to that, she led a team of vendor managers at Amazon UK, owning the commercial strategy and P&L for its grocery category.

"The grocery industry can gain significantly from automating. Labour costs are rising. The operator talent pool is shrinking. When you have razor thin margins, making an investment into automation can help cut back on these costs," says Arthur Bellamy, Chief Revenue Officer at Exotec.

"Clémence knows this industry from the inside out, and her expertise will be critical as we expand our grocery offerings to support grocers in feeling the full value of advanced automation."

"I've seen first-hand how challenging it can be for grocers to keep pace with changing customer expectations while maintaining operational efficiency,” says Munier. "I've long admired Exotec’s flexible approach to automation. By enabling retailers to adapt and scale, we’re setting our customers up for sustainable success.”
