Asda gets onboard with Airtime Rewards loyalty platform

Asda has joined the Airtime Rewards loyalty platform.

Its customers will now be able to shop online and in-store and earn money off their phone bill.

Airtime Rewards says that it segmentation technology analyses extensive amounts of relevant transactional data for each retailer, allowing them to build targeted campaigns that can acquire, retain or win back customers.

It app recently surpassed 1.5 million members who make around 30 incentivised purchases every minute with over 100 partners.

Airtime Rewards Co-Founder Josh Graham says: “Our technology makes onboarding simple for Asda, no complicated backend integration is needed, meaning once retailers have joined us, their customers can start to earn Airtime Rewards immediately.”

A spokesperson for Asda comments: “This was an obvious step forward for us in increasing customer loyalty across our stores. The platform allows us to clearly see our return on investment, giving us greater control over our campaigns.”

“We’re delighted to be able to help reduce our customers’ phone bills each month through Airtime Rewards.”

RangeMe

Also this week Asda announced a partnership with RangeMe.

Through the latter’s global sourcing platform, the grocery giant is aiming to increase the number of new and innovative products available in stores as it seeks out emerging suppliers.

Asda is the first of the big four UK grocers to join RangeMe since the US-based platform launched in the UK last month.
