Michael Roland has joined Coop Danmark and taken on the role of Senior Product Owner, Store Check Out. He was previously at Lobyco.

In a LinkedIn post, he said: "After almost five fantastic years, Friday marked my last day at Lobyco. It's been an incredible journey, from Product Owner in Scan & Pay, to Sales, and most recently as Integration Lead working closely with several of Lobyco's customers. Along the way, I've learned a tremendous amount and had the privilege of collaborating with many talented colleagues and customers. A huge thank you to everyone I've worked with over the years. You know who you are."

He added: "While it's never easy to say goodbye, I'm happy to say I'm staying in the family and will continue working closely with the Lobyco team in my new role. On 2nd November, I joined Coop Danmark as Senior Product Owner, Store Check Out."

The awards, which celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world, have now closed for entries. Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.

The event will consist of a drinks reception, three course meal, awards ceremony presided over by award winning stand-up comedian, presenter, actor and broadcaster, Aurie Styla, and after party until 1am.
