lululemon hits 100 store milestone in EMEA as retailer opens first location in Warsaw, Poland
lululemon has opened its 100th store in EMEA and its first ever physical location in Warsaw, Poland.
In a LinkedIn post, Sarah Clark, Senior Vice President EMEA, said: “Nearly 12 years ago, we opened our first EMEA store in London’s Covent Garden. Since then, we have grown thoughtfully across the region, expanding into 20 markets through a mix of company‑operated stores and franchise partnerships.”
She added: “This milestone speaks to the continued demand for lululemon across EMEA, and to the dedicated teams who bring our brand to life every day with care, creativity and a deep belief in what we’re building together.”
“Our stores continue to be about so much more than product. They’re places where community, movement, and wellbeing come together, prioritising a special guest experience. Reaching 100 stores is significant achievement - and as we look ahead to new market entries and continued international growth, it continues to feel like we’re just getting started!”
London calling
lululemon recently announced the opening of its first store on High Street Kensington, the brand’s 13th store in London.
Located at 132–136 Kensington High Street, W8 7RL, this spans approximately 7,000 square feet across two floors. The design draws inspiration from the store’s proximity to Hyde Park and the area’s natural surroundings, combining wood finishes, textured materials, and soft, neutral tones. The store also features a local manifesto centred on running culture, brought to life through inspiring quotes and movement led design elements.
“Following the opening of our Regent Street flagship store last year, we’re excited to continue growing our presence in London with our new High Street Kensington location,” said Clark.
“This store brings our latest design concept to life in a way that feels open, welcoming, and genuinely connected to the local community. It showcases both our men’s and women’s ranges across yoga, Pilates, train, tennis, and golf - high performance, high style collections covering technical apparel, footwear, and accessories. The new space provides us with a great opportunity to better serve West London’s active community and build meaningful, long-term connections in the neighbourhood.”
2026 RTIH Innovation Awards
Physical stores will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.
The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.
Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.
Check out our 2025 winners here.
Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”
“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”
He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”
Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
